У наших соседей, в Республике Молдова, вчера состоялось голосование на местных выборах. После подсчёта более 90% голосов, в подавляющем большинстве городов и райсоветов лидируют кандидаты от оппозиционных партий – и в первую очередь, от Партии социалистов Молдовы. Кандидаты от правящей либеральной и прозападной Партии действия и солидарности, основанной действующим президентом Майей Санду, проиграли оппозиции борьбу за пост мэра в 30 из 36 городов, в том числе и в столице Молдовы – Кишинёве.

Мы поздравляем наших единомышленников по левому движению из Партии социалистов Молдовы с успехом на местных выборах. И надеемся, что им удастся победить и на ближайших парламентских выборах, и тем самым спасти Молдову от следования по пути евромайданной Украины, которым ведут сейчас страну прозападные либералы, и который может, вслед за Украиной, привести к катастрофе и Молдову.

Our neighbors, in the Republic of Moldova, yesterday held voting in local elections. After counting more than 90% of the votes, in the vast majority of cities and district councils, candidates from opposition parties are in the lead — and first of all, from the Party of Socialists of Moldova. Candidates from the ruling liberal and pro-Western Party of Action and Solidarity, founded by incumbent President Maia Sandu, lost the race for mayor to the opposition in 30 of 36 cities, including the capital of Moldova, Chisinau.

We congratulate our associates in the left movement from the Party of Socialists of Moldova on their success in the local elections. And we hope that they will be able to win the next parliamentary elections, and thereby save Moldova from following the path of Euromaidan Ukraine, which is now being led by pro-Western liberals, and which, following Ukraine, could lead to disaster for Moldova as well.
