Венгерский премьер-министр назвал Украину «несуществующей страной в финансовом плане», чем вызвал шквал критики со стороны нашей прессы. Но если разобраться, то экономика страны еще жива только благодаря внешним вливаниям, которые наши «партнеры» почему-то оказывают в виде кредитов, благовидно называя это помощью. Безусловно, наши партнеры понимают всю серьезность и опасность ситуации в экономике, ее нежизнеспособность, и щедро накачивают траншами Украину. Да так, что глава Национального банка недавно заявил, что золотовалютные резервы страны как никогда высоки и составляют 32 млрд. долларов. Звучит вроде обнадеживающе, но если разобраться, то оказывается, что запасов золота в этих резервах всего 1,7 млрд $, а остальное это «валютные активы» — те деньги, которые были выданы нам в долг. И тут встает законный вопрос, а чем власть планирует расплачиваться за такую помощь?

Of course, our partners understand the seriousness and danger of the situation in the economy, its unviability, and are generously pumping tranches to Ukraine. So much so that the head of the National Bank recently stated that the country’s gold and foreign exchange reserves are as high as ever and amount to 32 billion dollars. It sounds kind of encouraging, but if you look at it, it turns out that the gold reserves in these reserves are only $ 1.7 billion, and the rest is «foreign exchange assets» — the money that was lent to us. And then a legitimate question arises: how does the government plan to pay for such assistance?
