Президент хочет перенести День Победы с 9 на 8 мая: типа, чтоб как у Европы было. А 9 мая сделать «днём Европы».
В принципе жаль, что потомок воевавших победителей лапает, причем исключительно конъюнктурно и зло, святой Праздник и в угоду обстоятельствам пытается извратить историю. Но с ним уже ничего не попишешь, пока так.
Тем же, кто хочет знать историю и не дать себя обманывать, хочу напомнить, что пакт капитуляции рейха был подписан по Москве в начале первого ночи 9 мая. По европейскому около полуночи 8го, это так. Но Украина тогда была частью страны-победителя, Советского Союза, и украинцы, как и другие бойцы множества иных национальностей, били гитлеровцев в составе победоносной Красной Армии Советского Союза.
Причем гитлеровцев тоже разных национальностей, в подавляющем большинстве, именно европейских: нацистскую форму тогда напялили на себя миллионы норвежцев, финнов, румынов, французов, австрийцев, чехов, болгар, венгров. И эти «цивилизованные» европейцы со свастиками на рукавах и в душах совершали на оккупированной территории такое, от которого и сегодня у нормальных людей волосы дыбом и справедливая ненависть к тем душегубам.
И Черчилль, и Рузвельт беспрекословно признавали, что хребет вермахту и нацизму сломала Красная Армия, Советский Союз. Украина и украинцы в их составе внесли свой огромный вклад в общую Победу над гитлеризмом. Это общий Праздник, общая Дата, общая радость для всех народов тогдашней страны -победительницы, нормальных потомков людей-героев.
Дату, которую, как и православную веру, и историю пытаются сегодня у нас исказить, оболгать, переписать и извратить.
Получится ли у них, зависит от нас с вами, от людей, которые обязаны ради памяти погибших и ушедших предков передавать правду следующим поколениям потомков.

Both Churchill and Roosevelt unambiguously recognized that the back of the Wehrmacht and Nazism was broken by the Red Army, the Soviet Union. Ukraine and the Ukrainians in their composition made a huge contribution to the common Victory over Nazism. This is a common holiday, a common date, a common joy for all the peoples of the then victorious country, normal descendants of people-heroes.
A date that, like the Orthodox faith, and history, today we are trying to distort, slander, rewrite and distort.
Whether they succeed depends on you and me, on people who are obliged, for the sake of the memory of their dead and departed ancestors, to pass on the truth to the next generations of descendants.
