Максим Гольдарб в эфире канала «Мрія» о высказываниях генсека НАТО Столтенберга:

Генсек НАТО Столтенберг заявил, что страны-члены НАТО должны увеличить расходы на оборону минимум до 2% ВВП, аргументируя такое увеличение военных расходов заботой о мире, безопасности и экологии. Интересно, как этот господин будет оберегать экологию? При помощи ядерной бомбы? Напомню, еще одно его недавнее изречение: «война для Украины это мир». Это абсурд! К чему вообще все эти заявления? Все очень просто — дайте денег! Денег, которые потом освоят военные корпорации! Они освоят и поделятся с теми, кто выбил для них эти суммы. И нет у них другой стратегии, да и им плевать, что такого количества вооружений хватит на то, чтобы снести эту планету. Они не задумываются о том, что гонка вооружений рано или поздно приведет к применению этих самых вооружений. Но до многих лидеров стран-членов НАТО постепенно стало доходить, что Альянс не их защитник, а скорее обуза. Об этом свидетельствуют цифры — из 30 стран-участников только 11 увеличили расходы на содержание НАТО до 2% ВВП. Так что при всей кажущейся сегодня монолитности этого блока, на самом деле в нем есть серьезные бреши, причем в остове, и вполне вероятно, что блок может посыпаться. Я надеюсь, что у нынешних руководителей стран-участниц Альянса хватит осознания и воли не двигать мир поближе к пропасти, как когда-то в 1960-х годах хватило ума и понимания у достаточно одиозных руководителей — Кеннеди и Хрущева.

NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said that NATO member countries should increase defense spending to at least 2% of GDP, arguing that such an increase in military spending is a concern for peace, security and the environment. I wonder how this gentleman will protect the environment? With a nuclear bomb? Let me remind you of another of his recent sayings: «War for Ukraine is peace.» This is absurd! Why all these statements? It’s very simple — give money! Money that military corporations will then master! They will master and share with those who knocked out these amounts for them. And they have no other strategy, and they don’t care that so many weapons are enough to demolish this planet. They do not think that the arms race will sooner or later lead to the use of these same weapons. But many leaders of NATO member countries gradually began to realize that the Alliance was not their protector, but rather a burden. This is evidenced by the figures — out of 30 participating countries, only 11 increased the cost of maintaining NATO to 2% of GDP. So, despite the seeming solidity of this block today, in fact there are serious gaps in it, moreover, in the skeleton, and it is likely that the block may crumble. I hope that the current leaders of the countries participating in the Alliance will have enough awareness and will not to move the world closer to the abyss, as once in the 1960s quite odious leaders — Kennedy and Khrushchev — had enough intelligence and understanding.
