В Пекине состоялась встреча председателя КНР Си Цзиньпина с госсекретарем США Энтони Блинкеном. Изначально казалось, что вся поездка госсекретаря ограничится работой с министром иностранных дел и куратором иностранных дел от компартии Китая. И прием первого лица государства второго или даже третьего лица для многих стал неожиданностью. Скорее всего, решение о проведении встречи было принято буквально в последние часы. Несомненно, США очень стремились к проведению встречи, потому что у них на дипломатическом фронте было много проигрышей, а через год выборы условного Байдена, и демократам нужны победы, чтобы было, что продемонстрировать своим избирателям. При этом китайские политики мастера своего дела, мастера реверансов, мастера соблюдения протокола, мастера игры в долгую, и они, видимо, выбрали в данном конкретном случае именно такую игру. Понятное дело, что Китай не поверил американцам, и тем более Блинкену, они его воспринимают как ястреба войны. Си Цзиньпин сделал такой вот жест, реверанс, перебросил в глазах всего мира мячик на поле американцев. Дескать, мы с вами встретились, пообщались, обсудили, в сто пятисотый раз сказали о том, что не лезьте в наши дела, не учите нас жить, мира на всех хватит, и от взаимодействия наших стран будет зависеть будущее мира. Теперь дело за американцами, как они себя поведут.
