Как мы уже сообщали, 9 марта в Мадриде состоялся совместный съезд оппозиционных левых партий Испании «Левый полюс», в работе которого принял активное участие лидер украинского социализма Максим Гольдарб.
На съезде было принято решение о формировании предвыборной коалиции испанских левых партий для участия в предстоящих в июне этого года выборах в Европарламент.
В коалицию «Левый полюс» на данный момент вошло 8 политических сил: Альянс левых республиканских сил Испании; Платформа левых; Партия труда; Социалистическая партия свободной федерации; Республиканская ассамблея Испании и другие. Кроме того, к коалиции присоединились такие знаковые для испанского левого движения фигуры, как известная писательница Тереза Галеоте и депутат Европарламента Хавьер Кусо.
В ближайшее время ожидается ещё большее расширение состава коалиции, что позволит объединённым левым претендовать на значительное количество депутатских мандатов в Европарламенте.
На съезде была также согласована рамочная предвыборная платформа коалиции – Политическая конвенция левых.
Среди ключевых пунктов Политической конвенции левых:
демократизация Евросоюза и построение другой, социально ориентированной Европы без эксплуатации и капитализма;
отказ от господствующей неолиберальной модели;
поддержка многополярного мира;
выход ЕС из НАТО и из подчинённого по отношению к США положения;
вывод всех иностранных военных баз с территории Евросоюза и введение запрета на хранение иностранного ядерного оружия в странах, которые не обладают им в своем национальном арсенале;
отмена всех нынешних односторонних нелегитимных санкций, установленных без согласия Совета Безопасности ООН;
сокращение военных бюджетов Европейского союза;
немедленное прекращение продажи оружия странам, находящимся в состоянии конфликта, примером чего являются поставки летального оружия правительству, возникшему в результате государственного переворота в Украине в 2014 году.
Важно отметить, что при подготовке этого документа испанскими левыми была учтена позиция «Союза левых сил – За новый социализм», которая озвучивалась нами в ходе постоянных контактов с испанскими товарищами.
В ходе общения Максима Гольдарба с лидерами испанских левых, были согласованы вопросы дальнейшего сотрудничества как в ходе избирательной кампании в Европарламент, так и на дальнейшую перспективу.
Лидер украинского левого движения приглашён также на съезды ряда других левых партий Европы, которые проводятся в ближайшее время в рамках подготовки к выборам в Европейский парламент.

As we reported earlier, on March 9, a joint congress of the Spanish opposition leftist parties «Left Pole» was held in Madrid, in the work of which the leader of Ukrainian socialism Maksym Goldarb took an active part.
At the congress it was decided to form a pre-election coalition of Spanish left-wing parties to participate in the upcoming elections to the European Parliament in June this year.
The coalition «Left Pole» at the moment included 8 political forces: the Alliance of Left Republican Forces of Spain, the Platform of the Left, the Party of Labor, the Socialist Party of the Free Federation, the Republican Assembly of Spain and others. In addition, the coalition was joined by such iconic figures for the Spanish leftist movement, such as the famous writer Teresa Galeote and member of the European Parliament Javier Couso.
In the near future, the coalition is expected to expand even more, which will allow the united left to claim a significant number of seats in the European Parliament.
The congress also agreed on a framework election platform for the coalition — the Political Convention of the Left.
Among the key points of the Political Convention of the Left are:
Democratizing the European Union and building a different, socially oriented Europe without exploitation and capitalism;
rejection of the dominant neoliberal model;
support for a multipolar world;
withdrawal of the EU from NATO and from its subordinate position to the USA;
withdrawal of all foreign military bases from EU territory and a ban on the storage of foreign nuclear weapons in countries that do not possess them in their national arsenal;
lifting all current unilateral illegitimate sanctions imposed without the consent of the UN Security Council;
reduction of the European Union’s military budgets;
an immediate halt to arms sales to countries in conflict, as exemplified by the supply of lethal weapons to the government resulting from the 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine.
It is important to note that in preparing this document, the Spanish Left took into account the position of the Union of Left Forces — For a New Socialism, which we voiced during our regular contacts with our Spanish comrades.
During the communication between Maxim Goldarb and the leaders of the Spanish Left, the issues of further cooperation were agreed upon both during the election campaign to the European Parliament and in the future.
The leader of the Ukrainian leftist movement was also invited to the congresses of a number of other leftist parties in Europe, which will be held in the near future in preparation for the elections to the European Parliament.
