9 марта в Мадриде состоялся совместный съезд оппозиционных левых партий Испании «Левый полюс», посвящённый формированию широкой предвыборной коалиции испанских левых партий для участия в предстоящих в июне этого года выборах в Европарламент.

Впервые на съезд европейских партий был приглашён Максим Гольдарб, которому организаторы предоставили слово для выступления сразу же после открытия съезда.

Приводим текст выступления лидера украинского левого движения на съезде:

«Уважаемые испанские товарищи! 

Я благодарен организаторам за предоставленную возможность выступить. 

Десять лет назад в результате государственного переворота в Украине пришел к власти правый олигархический режим с националистической идеологией, полностью подчиненный американскому империализму. При власти президента Зеленского этот режим окончательно стал тоталитарным. Оппозиция разгромлена, все левые партии, включая и нашу партию, запрещены, тысячи людей брошены в тюрьмы за свои убеждения, а некоторые убиты. Под шум войны власть олигархов и их ставленников позволила себе всерьез, физически попытаться устранить свой главный страх — победу левых, социалистических сил и потерю своей ненасытной власти и награбленных у Украины богатств.  

 Вам в это трудно поверить, но то, что происходит последние годы в Украине, очень напоминает то, что происходило в Испании при режиме Франко. Но только ещё хуже, так как к диктаторскому тоталитарному режиму добавились развал экономики, нищета большинства трудящихся, а также война, ведущаяся в интересах мирового империализма.  

Теперь же к большой войне, которая может перерасти в третью мировую войну, всё быстрее движется и нынешний неолиберальный Евросоюз, подчинённый мировой финансово-политической элите.  

Остановить сползание Европы к катастрофе могут только левые силы – настоящие левые, такие, как вы и наши единомышленники в других странах Европы и мира.   

Мир утомился от дикого, злого, ненасытного капитализма, и протесты в Европе — современное  яркое тому доказательство. Люди ищут другие варианты устройства государств, ждут прихода политиков с человеческими лицами и взглядами, руководителей и депутатов, которые желают и могут в корне изменить навязанную человеческому сообществу смертельно опасную систему управления, грабежа и безудержного накопления и потребления, систему, где микро горстка управляет миллиардами и их жизнями и судьбами.  

Незадолго до войны, всего за несколько месяцев левые силы в Украине получили от населения фантастическую поддержку: прирост членов партии в месяц составлял в среднем 3-5 тысяч человек, мой личный президентский рейтинг (мы никогда раньше его не измеряли) за три довоенных месяца вырос в несколько раз. Еще раз — всего за три месяца: это при отсутствии своих телеканалов, газет, цензуре. Поэтому я не сомневаюсь в обязательной победе в будущем в моей стране левых идей, идей здорового современного социализма.  

У присутствующих здесь два вида конкурентов: очевидные — это правые партии, их спонсоры-капиталисты; и псевдо-левые партии, которые окопались в национальных парламентах и правительствах и Европарламенте, прячась от людей и прикрываясь социалистическими названиями и лозунгами, но на самом деле давно не являющихся левыми.  

Яркий пример — социал-демократическая партия Германии, их правительство и их канцлер. Очевидно, что они уже давно не имеют никакого отношения к идеям социал-демократии и социализма, открыто встав на сторону олигархов и капитализма, защищая их интересы и разоряя при этом собственную страну и народ.  

Очевидно, что остановить сползание Европы к катастрофе могут только левые силы – настоящие левые, такие, как вы и наши единомышленники в других странах Европы и мира.   

Мы очень благодарны вам за товарищескую солидарность и поддержку в защите нашей партии и меня лично от политических репрессий в Украине.   

Мы желаем вашему съезду достичь всех поставленных вами целей, достичь единства левых и получить большую поддержку на ближайших выборах в Европарламент.  

Мы готовы оказать в этом любую зависящую от нас помощь и верим в то, что и другая Украина, и другая Европа действительно возможны.

Выступление Максима Гольдарба, сделанное им на испанском языке, вызвало огромную положительную реакция зала — участники съезда стоя аплодировали лидеру украинского социализма.

Позиция, озвученная Максимом Гольдарбом в своём выступлении, полностью коррелирует с программными установками оппозиционных испанских левых, с которыми они идут на предвыборную кампанию в Европейский парламент.

В ходе работы съезда лидер украинского социализма провёл также ряд встреч и переговоров с руководством формирующейся коалиции испанских левых партий о дальнейшем сотрудничестве, в том числе и в рамках начинающейся предвыборной кампании в Европарламент.

On March 9, Madrid hosted a joint congress of Spanish opposition left-wing parties «Left Pole», dedicated to the formation of a broad electoral coalition of Spanish left-wing parties to participate in the upcoming elections to the European Parliament in June this year.

Maxim Goldarb was invited for the first time to the congress of European parties, and the organizers gave him the floor for a speech immediately after the opening of the congress.

Here is the text of the speech of the leader of the Ukrainian leftist movement at the congress:

«Dear Spanish comrades!

I am grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to speak.

Ten years ago, as a result of a coup d’état in Ukraine, a right-wing oligarchic regime with nationalist ideology, completely subordinated to US imperialism, came to power. Under the rule of President Zelensky, this regime has finally become totalitarian. The opposition is crushed, all leftist parties, including our party, are banned, thousands of people are thrown into prison for their beliefs, and some are killed. Under the noise of the war, the power of the oligarchs and their proxies have allowed themselves to seriously, physically try to eliminate their main fear — the victory of the leftist, socialist forces and the loss of their insatiable power and wealth looted from Ukraine. 

 You may find it hard to believe, but what has been happening in Ukraine in recent years is very similar to what happened in Spain during the Franco regime. But only worse, because to the dictatorial totalitarian regime were added the collapse of the economy, poverty of the majority of workers, as well as the war waged in the interests of world imperialism. 

Now the current neo-liberal European Union, subordinated to the world financial-political elite, is moving faster and faster towards a big war, which may escalate into a third world war. 

Only leftist forces — real leftists like you and our like-minded people in other countries of Europe and the world — can stop Europe’s slide towards catastrophe.

The world is tired of wild, evil, insatiable capitalism, and the protests in Europe are the modern vivid proof of it. People are looking for other options for the organization of states, waiting for the arrival of politicians with human faces and views, leaders and deputies who are willing and able to fundamentally change the deadly dangerous system of governance, plunder and unrestrained accumulation and consumption imposed on the human community, a system where a micro handful controls billions and their lives and destinies. 

Shortly before the war, in just a few months, the leftist forces in Ukraine received fantastic support from the population: the growth of party members per month averaged 3-5 thousand people, my personal presidential rating (we had never measured it before) increased several times in three pre-war months. Once again — in just three months: this in the absence of our own TV channels, newspapers, and censorship. Therefore, I have no doubts about the obligatory victory of leftist ideas, the ideas of healthy modern socialism, in my country in the future.

Those present here have two kinds of competitors: the obvious ones are the right-wing parties and their capitalist sponsors; and the pseudo-left-wing parties that have entrenched themselves in national parliaments and governments and the European Parliament, hiding from the people and hiding behind socialist names and slogans, but are not really left-wing for a long time. 

A prime example is the German Social Democratic Party, their government and their chancellor. It is obvious that they have long had nothing to do with the ideas of social democracy and socialism, openly siding with the oligarchs and capitalism, defending their interests while ruining their own country and people. 

It is obvious that only leftist forces can stop Europe’s slide towards catastrophe — real leftists like you and our like-minded people in other countries of Europe and the world.  

We are very grateful to you for your comradely solidarity and support in defending our party and me personally from political repression in Ukraine.  

We wish your congress to achieve all the goals you have set, to achieve the unity of the left and to get more support in the next elections to the European Parliament. 

We are ready to provide all the help we can and believe that another Ukraine and another Europe are really possible.

Maksym Goldarb’s speech, made by him in Spanish, caused a huge positive reaction of the hall — the participants of the congress gave the leader of Ukrainian socialism a standing ovation.

The position voiced by Maksym Goldarb in his speech fully correlates with the program guidelines of the Spanish opposition left, with which they are going to the election campaign for the European Parliament.

During the congress, the leader of Ukrainian socialism also held a number of meetings and negotiations with the leadership of the emerging coalition of Spanish leftist parties on further cooperation, including within the framework of the beginning of the election campaign for the European Parliament.
