Defend Democracy Press является сайтом известной в Европе программы «Delphi Initiative» («Дельфийская инициатива»), существующей с 2015 года, которая представляет собой объединение представителей европейских и американских интеллектуальных кругов, выступающих против попыток транснациональных корпораций установить тоталитарный контроль над Европой, а также против внешней политики нынешних западных элит.

«Дельфийская инициатива» поддерживается также такими международными организациями левого направления, как Всемирным форум альтернатив, Исследовательская группа геополитической экономики (Канада), Афинский институт развития и другими.
